TWO Rafting Days on the NEW RIVER (West Virginia), with the ability to earn WHITEWATER MERIT BADGE. Travel Friday, August 1, Raft Saturday, Night on the River, Raft Sunday, Return Monday August 4. Support provided by Songer Whitewater.

LIMIT: First 20 (First come, first served w/ money, permission slip and waivers to Mr. Castaneda. If greater than 20 we'll waitlist and negotiate w/ Songer). At this time, Scout MUST BE FIRST CLASS OR ABOVE.
Price: $251 all inclusive per Scout or Scouter

Saturday Country Breakfast Buffet provided (provided is code word for "Scouts don't need to cook.")

We will not need tents. We'll need limited gear. Monday and Friday departure and arrival times TBD depending on other sights we may wish to enjoy in the New River area.

Songer Whitewater has been helping scouts build self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment for over three decades. Whitewater adventure is, by its very nature, a teamwork-oriented exercise. This allows groups to break down barriers and develop camaraderie while forging stronger bonds.
