All Scout Leaders are expected to:
- Set a good example
- Enthusiastically wear the
Scout uniform correctly
- Live by the Scout Oath and Law
- Show Scout Spirit
The Troop Instructor(s)
- A role for older, more mature
Scouts
- Teach basic Scouting skills
- Prepare and make special educational
presentations for troop meetings:
- Games with a point from Troop
Program Resources and Program Features
- Learning can be fun, if you
make it so
- Skills should be geared toward
upcoming weekend outings as much as possible, to prepare Scouts to make
the most of the outing.
- Helps organize and then attends
and runs the New Scout training outing
- Should be at least Star rank
- Completion of Communication
merit badge helpful and recommended
- If he has no specific duty
during a particular Troop meeting, he should help youngest Scout patrol
with basic Advancement skills.
